Dust Panel

A thin horizontal panel installed between stacked drawers in a cabinet to prevent dust and small items from falling from one drawer compartment into the one below. Dust panels are a hallmark of quality cabinet construction, typically made from ΒΌ-inch plywood or hardboard and fitted into dadoes in the cabinet sides. Their presence indicates attention to detail and is a sign of semi-custom or custom-grade cabinetry.
