What does "curbside delivery" mean?

Curbside delivery means your cabinets will be delivered to the curb or end of your driveway. The driver will not bring items inside your home or to the job site. You'll need to arrange help and equipment (hand truck, dolly) to move the heavy cabinet boxes from the delivery point to your installation location.

Are there any exceptions to free shipping?

Yes, free shipping may not apply to:

  • Remote or hard-to-access locations (islands, mountainous areas)
  • Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories
  • Deliveries requiring lift gate service
  • White glove or threshold delivery upgrades
  • Residential locations with limited truck access

For these situations, additional shipping costs will be quoted separately.

How long does it take to receive my cabinets?

Total delivery time includes processing and transit:

  • In-stock items: 1-3 business days processing + 3-14 days transit
  • Made-to-order cabinets: 2-6 weeks processing + 3-14 days transit
  • Custom orders: 4-8 weeks processing + 3-14 days transit

Processing time begins after payment is confirmed and all project details are finalized.

How long does shipping take once my order ships?

Transit times vary by location:

  • East Coast: 3-7 business days
  • Midwest: 5-10 business days
  • West Coast: 7-14 business days
  • Alaska/Hawaii: 2-4 weeks

Why do cabinets take longer than other products I order online?

Most cabinets are made-to-order by manufacturers to your specifications. They're not sitting in a warehouse ready to ship. Additionally, cabinets are large, heavy items that ship via freight (LTL - Less Than Truckload) rather than standard parcel services, which takes longer but ensures safe delivery of your investment.

Can I get expedited shipping?

Expedited shipping options are limited due to the freight nature of cabinet shipments. However, we can sometimes arrange faster processing or shipping for an additional fee. Contact us at 609-900-3358 to discuss your timeline.

Shipping costs for orders under $2,500 are calculated based on weight, dimensions, and destination. Typical costs range from $200-$800. You'll see the exact shipping cost at checkout or in your custom quote.

What is white glove delivery and how much does it cost?

White glove delivery is a premium service that includes:

  • Delivery to the room of your choice
  • Unpacking and inspection of all items
  • Removal of packaging materials
  • Placement in designated areas

White glove delivery typically costs $300-$800 depending on your location and order size. Note: This does not include cabinet installation.

What is threshold delivery?

Threshold delivery means the carrier will bring your cabinets to the first dry, safe area inside your home or job site (typically garage, foyer, or first floor entrance). This usually costs $100-$300 extra depending on location and order size.

How do I track my order?

You can track your order through:

Will I be notified before delivery?

Yes! The freight carrier will contact you 24-48 hours before delivery to schedule a delivery appointment. Make sure your phone number is accurate and monitored.

What if I miss the delivery appointment?

Missing a delivery appointment may result in redelivery fees ($150-$400) or return to sender charges. It's critical that you're available for the carrier's call and that someone 18+ is present during the scheduled delivery window.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

What should I do when my cabinets arrive?

Before signing the delivery receipt:

  • Count all boxes and verify quantity matches the delivery receipt
  • Inspect all boxes for visible damage
  • Note any damage or missing items on the delivery receipt
  • Take photos of damaged packaging
  • Do NOT accept delivery if there's severe damage

What if I find damage after the driver leaves?

For concealed damage (not visible until boxes are opened):

  • Take photos of damaged items and packaging
  • Keep all original packaging materials
  • Report damage within 5 days of delivery

Should I open all boxes right away?

Yes, you should unpack and inspect all cabinets within 48 hours of delivery to check for concealed damage. However, if the installation isn't happening immediately, you can reseal boxes and store them properly after inspection.

What if boxes are missing?

Note the shortage on the delivery receipt before signing. Count all boxes carefully and compare to the delivery manifest. Contact us immediately if items are missing.

Storage & Handling

How should I store cabinets until installation?

Proper storage is essential:

  • Store in a clean, dry, climate-controlled environment
  • Keep boxes off the floor on pallets or boards
  • Protect from moisture, extreme temperatures, and direct sunlight
  • Don't stack boxes higher than manufacturer recommendations
  • Keep boxes sealed until ready for installation
  • Acclimate cabinets to installation environment for 48 hours before installing

Can I store cabinets in my garage?

You can store cabinets in a garage only if it's climate-controlled and protected from moisture and extreme temperatures. Unheated garages in winter or hot garages in summer are not suitable. Damage from improper storage is not covered under warranty.

How heavy are cabinet boxes?

Cabinet boxes typically weigh 40-150 pounds each depending on size. Base cabinets are generally heavier than wall cabinets. You'll need adequate help and equipment to move them safely.

Special Situations

Do you deliver to job sites?

Yes, we deliver to commercial job sites. Requirements include:

  • Accessible loading dock or clear delivery area
  • Forklift assistance if needed (arranged in advance)
  • Someone authorized to receive and sign for delivery

Can you deliver to apartment buildings?

Yes, but freight trucks may have difficulty accessing some locations. You may need to:

  • Reserve freight elevator in advance
  • Get building approval for delivery
  • Arrange threshold or white glove delivery
  • Be prepared for potential access fees

Do you ship internationally?

We only ship to addresses within the United States and its territories. We do not offer international shipping to Canada or other countries at this time.
