Galaxy Frost Cabinets

The name is a hierarchy, and knowing which part is which makes every spec sheet easier to read. Fabuwood is the manufacturer. Allure is its mid-tier line — the volume program that most of the brand's kitchens come from. Galaxy is one of six door styles inside that line, a five-piece recessed-panel shaker with a smooth, polished face. Frost is the paint: the brightest, most neutral white in the catalog.

So "Allure Galaxy Frost" is one specific door in one specific color, and it is not interchangeable with the other whites Fabuwood sells — Nexus Frost is the same paint on a slab door, and Luna Dove is a slim-frame shaker in a softer white. Everything on this page — every size, every accessory, every molding — is that one door and that one paint, which is the whole point of buying a program finish rather than a custom color.

Frost is Fabuwood's brightest paint and, more usefully, its most neutral. There is no yellow lean and no grey lean — which sounds like a small thing until you have watched a creamy white go faintly gold next to a cool quartz, or a chalky white go blue in a north-facing room. Neutral means the cabinets take on the room instead of fighting it.

The paint sits on the Galaxy door: a five-piece recessed-panel shaker with a smooth, polished face rather than a matte one. That low sheen is doing real work on a white. It bounces light instead of absorbing it, so a small kitchen reads larger, and it wipes clean where a flat paint holds fingerprints around the pulls.

The honest limitation: a bright, clean white is unforgiving of everything around it. Off-white trim will read dingy next to it, and a builder-beige wall will look yellow. Fabuwood sits in the value semi-custom tier, and the spec sheet is where that shows. This is not an import RTA box with a printed-foil door; it is also not a $30,000 custom program. What you are buying is a well-built painted shaker with brand-name hardware, pre-assembled, at a price close to RTA.

Two rows deserve emphasis. The dovetailed drawer box is the single best proxy for cabinet quality at this price — stapled butt joints are what fail first in a hard-working kitchen. And the Blum soft-close hardware is standard, not an upcharge line item, which is not true of every brand quoting a similar per-cabinet price.

Everything in this finish is built on the standard American cabinet grid, which is what makes it easy to plan against. Bases are 34½″ tall and 24″ deep so a finished countertop lands at 36″. Widths step in 3″ increments, which is why kitchens are drawn in 3″ multiples and why fillers exist to absorb the remainder.

• Base cabinets — 9″ to 48″ wide in 3″ steps, at 34½″ × 24″. Singles, doubles, drawer banks, sink bases, blind and lazy-Susan corners.
• Wall cabinets — 12″, 15″, 18″, 21″, 24″, 30″, 36″ and 42″ high. The 30″ height is the default; 42″ takes cabinets to a 9′ ceiling with no soffit.
• Tall cabinets — 84″, 90″ and 96″ high, in 12″ and 24″ depths, as pantries, utility cabinets and dedicated oven towers.
• Vanities, accessories, moldings and matching panels in the same paint, so a bath or an island end never has to be approximated.

The size filters at the top of this page are driven by live inventory, so they are the authority on what is actually orderable today. If a width you need is missing from the list, it is not stocked in this finish — ask and we will check the factory.

Cabinet pricing is quoted per box, so the only comparable number across brands is a 10x10 — a standardized 20 linear feet of cabinetry used as an industry yardstick. It is not your kitchen, but it is the right way to compare quotes.

Here is the box list behind that number — a representative L-shaped 10x10, priced from this page. Nobody publishes this, which is why quotes are so hard to compare: two dealers can both say "10x10" and mean different cabinets.

At the prices shown in the table above, that set runs about $4,560 as of September 2026 — the live table is the price of record, and a collection discount is already applied there. Swap the blind corner for a lazy Susan and add roughly $400; swap two door bases for drawer banks and add roughly $250 each. Neither changes the layout, only what you can reach.

Your kitchen is not a 10x10. Treat this as the yardstick it is meant to be — a way to compare two quotes on the same cabinets — and send us your measurements for the list that actually fits your room.

Every item is named the same way: a two-letter finish prefix, a type code, then the dimensions. Once you can read one you can read the whole catalog, and you can check a quote without opening a price list.

"GF" is the finish. The letters after it are the cabinet family, and the digits are sizes in inches — width first, then depth or height where the cabinet needs both.

Two suffixes are worth memorising because they change what you get. "FD" is a full-height door — the top drawer is gone, so GF B36FD is one tall door where GF B36 has a drawer above. "-12D" is a 12″-deep box instead of the standard 24″, which is how you fit cabinetry behind a peninsula or down a tight aisle. "SDF" means a single drawer front across a wide box rather than two.

The one code that trips people up is DB. In some catalogs it means double door; here it means drawer base. A double-door base is a plain B code at 24″ and wider.

Fabuwood sells several whites and they are not interchangeable. The differences are door style and series, not just paint.
