Edge Banding

A thin strip of wood veneer, PVC, melamine, or ABS plastic applied to the exposed edges of plywood, MDF, or particleboard panels to cover the raw core and create a finished appearance. Edge banding is heat-activated or glued and trimmed flush with the panel faces.
