Wall-Mount Range Hood

A range hood mounted directly to the wall above a cooktop, venting through the wall behind it or up through the ceiling. Wall-mount hoods are the standard choice when no cabinet sits over the range, and include chimney, slim, curved-glass, and designer profiles in widths matched to the cooktop — commonly 30 to 48 inches. Sizing the hood at least as wide as the cooking surface improves capture.
