Pantry Cabinet Sizes, Types and Costs, With Real SKUs and Prices

Standard pantry cabinet sizes are 84, 90 or 96 inches tall, 12 or 24 inches deep, and 15 to 36 inches wide, with one door up to 18 inches and a pair of doors from 24 inches up. In the lines we sell, a full-depth 18-inch pantry runs from $676.28 (US Cabinet Depot Shaker, 84 inches) to $1,053.00 (Fabuwood Allure Galaxy TP182484, list $1,620.00) at current prices, and the cost difference that matters more is what ships inside: loose shelves, or roll-out trays.

We sell cabinets for a living, and the pantry is the cabinet people most often change between the first quote and the order. This guide lists every pantry size in five lines we carry, with SKU, shelf count and price, then takes the decisions in the order a designer does: depth, height, width, what goes inside, where it stands, and whether a walk-in would do the job for less.

Key Takeaways
  • Heights are 84, 90 and 96 inches in most framed lines. Fabuwood Galaxy adds a 93-inch box in Frost, Dove, Indigo and Timber, and US Cabinet Depot's frameless Torino and Palermo talls come at 84, 89 and 94 inches.
  • Depth is 24 inches almost everywhere. Of the five lines here, only Fabuwood offers a 12-inch-deep pantry in every width, and J&K builds its pantries 27 inches deep.
  • A Fabuwood pantry ships with five or six loose shelves and the clips in a separate box. Roll-outs are ordered per tray (ROD-B18 BLUM E is $201.50). US Cabinet Depot sells a four-roll-out kit version, and J&K builds three roll-out trays into every pantry.
  • Going shallow barely changes the price but halves the storage: an 18-inch Fabuwood pantry costs $5.85 per inch of shelf at 24 inches deep and $11.34 at 12 inches deep.
  • By the NKBA's own storage method, one 18 x 24 x 84 pantry with five shelves meets the whole pantry allowance for a small kitchen (180 inches of shelf frontage).
  • Check the diagonal before you order a 93- or 96-inch box. A 24-inch-deep, 96-inch pantry measures about 99 inches corner to corner and cannot be tipped upright under an 8-foot ceiling.

Pantry Cabinet Sizes at a Glance

A pantry cabinet is a single floor-standing box that runs from the toe kick to roughly the top of the upper cabinets, with shelves behind one or two doors. Three measurements define it, and each one is decided by something different in the room.

Labeled pantry cabinet size chart showing widths of 15, 18, 24, 30 and 36 inches, heights of 84, 90 and 96 inches, and 12-inch versus 24-inch depths
Pantry sizes in one chart: 15 and 18 inches wide with one door, 24 to 36 inches with two, three standard heights, and two depths.
Dimension Common sizes What decides it
Height 84″, 90″, 96″ (93″ in four Fabuwood Galaxy finishes; 89″ and 94″ in USCD frameless) The top line of your wall cabinets and your ceiling
Depth 24″ (standard) or 12″ (shallow) What you store, and how much aisle the box can take
Width, one door 15″, 18″ The gap you are filling, often beside the fridge
Width, two doors 24″, 30″, 36″ How much food storage the kitchen needs
Shelves 4 to 6, adjustable The line and the height (taller boxes get one more)

The heights are not arbitrary. With a 34½-inch base, a 1½-inch counter and 18 inches of backsplash, a 30-inch wall cabinet tops out at 84 inches, a 36-inch at 90 and a 42-inch at 96, so the pantry is chosen to finish on the same line as the uppers beside it. Our wall and tall cabinet sizing guide has that ceiling table in full, and why cabinet sizes step in 3-inch increments explains the width ladder. This page stays on the pantry itself.

Every Pantry We Sell, Line by Line

Here is what the spec books and our live listings actually offer. The code order differs by brand, so read the notes column before comparing two quotes: Fabuwood writes width, depth, height (TP182484 is 18 wide, 24 deep, 84 tall), while KCD drops the depth (P1884), and US Cabinet Depot puts it last (U188424). Our guide to reading cabinet SKU codes decodes the rest.

Line Widths Heights Depth Inside as shipped Example code
Fabuwood Allure (framed) 15″, 18″ one door; 24″, 30″, 36″ two doors 84″, 90″, 96″ (93″ in Galaxy Frost, Dove, Indigo, Timber) 12″ or 24″ 5 shelves at 84″, 6 at 90″ and up, packed loose TP182484, TP362496
KCD (framed) 18″ one door; 24″, 30″ two doors 84″, 90″, 96″ 24″ 4 shelves, 5 in the 96″ box P1884, P2496
US Cabinet Depot framed (Shaker, Oxford, Haven, Casselberry, Edgeline) 18″ two doors; 24″, 30″ four doors 84″, 90″, 96″ 24″ Shelves, or a kit version with four roll-outs U188424, U1884244RS
US Cabinet Depot frameless (Torino, Palermo) 18″, 24″, 30″ 84″, 89″, 94″ Confirm on quote Door-only, or door-over-drawer versions T1884, T2DB1884
J&K (RTA) 18″, 24″, 30″ 84″, 90″, 96″ 27″ 2–3 adjustable shelves up top, 1 middle shelf, 3 roll-out trays WP188427, WP309627

A few things in that table deserve a sentence each. KCD's 30-inch, 84-inch pantry (P3084) is only made in Shaker White; the 90 and 96 versions come in more colors. US Cabinet Depot calls its pantries "utility cabinets," and an 18-inch U188424 still has two doors, a short one over a long one, because the face frame is split by a fixed rail above the lower door. Fabuwood and US Cabinet Depot both use a 49¼-inch lower door at every height (KCD's is 49), and only the upper door grows: 29½, 35½ or 41½ inches at Fabuwood.

J&K's spec book lists every WP pantry at 27 inches deep, three more than its 24-inch bases, and its refrigerator wall cabinets at 27 inches too. The book backs this up elsewhere: J&K's loose roll-out trays are "for 24-inch deep cabinet only," with a 25-inch glide sold separately for the pantry. So a J&K pantry stands 3 inches proud of the base run, which lines it up with the cabinet over the fridge but not with the counter; plan the end of the countertop around it. The same book lists the 18 by 84-inch pantry at 154 pounds.

KCD and J&K pantries are quote-only: our store lists door samples for both brands, not cabinets, so their prices come on a written quote. The same goes for our other brands (Diamond, Decorá, Modernform, Mantra, Tribeca, St. Martin and NOMA), which build pantries too. The tall cabinets page shows what is listed today.

12 Inches Deep or 24: The Decision That Sets Everything Else

Choose depth first, because it changes the storage far more than the price. At the same width and height, a Fabuwood 12-inch pantry costs almost the same as the 24-inch one: TP301284 is $1,443.00 and TP302484 is $1,475.50, a $32.50 difference, for half the shelf area. That is why cost per inch of shelf is the better comparison.

Fabuwood Galaxy, 84″ tall Our price Shelf frontage (NKBA method) Cost per inch of frontage
TP181284 (18″ wide, 12″ deep) $1,020.50 90″ $11.34
TP182484 (18″ wide, 24″ deep) $1,053.00 180″ $5.85
TP361284 (36″ wide, 12″ deep) $1,677.00 180″ $9.32
TP362484 (36″ wide, 24″ deep) $1,712.75 360″ $4.76

Frontage here uses the National Kitchen & Bath Association's formula from its Kitchen Planning Guidelines: cabinet width in inches, times the number of shelves, times cabinet depth in feet. Five shelves in an 18-inch, 24-inch-deep box is 18 × 5 × 2 = 180 inches.

So the shallow pantry is the expensive way to buy storage. Buy it anyway when the room calls for it. A 12-inch box keeps every can and jar one row deep, and it stands where a 24-inch box cannot: a hallway wall, the back of a peninsula, beside a doorway. The NKBA recommends at least 42 inches of work aisle for one cook and 48 for two, measured to tall cabinets as well as counters, so going from 24 to 12 inches deep gives a tight galley 12 inches back.

The 24-inch pantry is the right default on an appliance wall. It lines up with the bases and the refrigerator surround, and it holds bulk packs and small appliances a 12-inch shelf never will. Its weakness is the back half of each 21-inch shelf, which roll-outs fix (see what ships in the box). A 12-inch pantry at the end of a 24-inch run shows its side, which needs a finished end or a skin; see our piece on skin panels and gables.

84, 90, 93 or 96 Inches Tall

Match the pantry to the uppers first and the ceiling second. Under a standard 8-foot ceiling, an 84-inch pantry leaves 12 inches above it for a soffit or open space, a 90-inch box leaves 6 inches for crown molding, and a 96-inch box leaves nothing, which creates the delivery problem covered further down. Fabuwood Galaxy's 93-inch height pairs with 39-inch uppers (34½ + 1½ + 18 + 39 = 93), and both come only in Galaxy Frost, Dove, Indigo and Timber; in Nickel, Linen and most other Galaxy finishes, plan on 84, 90 or 96.

Extra height is cheap. An 18 x 24 Fabuwood pantry goes from $1,053.00 at 84 inches (TP182484) to $1,150.50 at 96 (TP182496), $97.50 more for a sixth shelf. One listing quirk: at 36 inches wide the 93-inch boxes are listed higher than the 96-inch ones ($2,548.00 for TP362493 against $2,343.25 for TP362496), so price the next height up before you settle on 93.

Keep that sixth shelf in perspective. The NKBA counts storage more than 84 inches above the floor as "miscellaneous," not pantry storage; most people need a step stool up there. Plan it for paper goods and the holiday platter.

Width, Door Count and Door Swing

Pantries come in two families. One-door boxes are 15 or 18 inches wide (KCD makes the 18 only). Two-door boxes run 24, 30 or 36 inches, and at US Cabinet Depot the 24 and 30 have four doors, two up top and two below. Width decides storage volume, but door swing decides whether the pantry is pleasant to use.

An 18-inch door swings about 18 inches into the room. Open it into a 42-inch aisle with the dishwasher door down opposite and someone waits. A 24-inch pantry has two doors under 12 inches each (KCD's P2484 doors are 11 11/16 inches wide), which is the quiet reason the 24-inch double-door pantry suits tight kitchens: more storage than an 18, with doors that barely reach into the aisle.

Two narrow towers or one wide one? At 96 inches tall and 24 deep in Fabuwood Galaxy, two 18-inch pantries (2 × TP182496 at $1,150.50) come to $2,301.00, against $2,343.25 for one 36-inch (TP362496). The pair is slightly cheaper, gives you two separate doors to open, and lets you split jobs, food in one and cleaning supplies in the other. The single 36 has no center stile, so a wide tray or a stack of sheet pans fits.

Types of Pantry Cabinets

"Pantry cabinet" covers several products on a quote, and they differ mostly in how you reach the food.

Nine-inch base pantry pull-out extended from a white shaker base cabinet run, with maple shelves and chrome rails holding spice jars and oil bottles
When there is no wall for a tall box, a 9-inch base pull-out keeps oils, spices and cans at counter height.

Single-door tall pantry

The 15- or 18-inch one-door box is the gap-filler: the strip of wall beside a refrigerator, the end of a run next to a doorway, the leftover space in a laundry room layout. It is the cheapest tall box in every line, and the back row stays reachable even at 24 inches deep. Browse them on the single-door pantry page.

Double-door tall pantry

The 24-, 30- or 36-inch box with a pair of doors (or four, at US Cabinet Depot) holds the most, and it is where fixed shelves stop working: a 21-inch-deep shelf holds five rows of soup cans, and nobody sees past the second. The double-door pantry listings show each size with its price.

Pantry with roll-out trays

The same tall box with low-sided trays on runners behind the lower door. J&K builds three into every WP pantry, US Cabinet Depot sells a separate "kit" SKU with four, and at Fabuwood and KCD you order trays as an accessory; the next section compares them, and our guide to pull-out pantry shelves and other cabinet organizers covers tray spacing and retrofits.

Pantry with drawers

US Cabinet Depot's frameless Torino and Palermo talls replace the lower door with drawer fronts. In Torino White Pine at 18 by 84 inches, the plain two-door T1884 is $701.36, the one-door, two-drawer T2DB1884 is $969.32, the version with an inner drawer behind the door (T2DBID1884) is $1,103.52, and the three-drawer T3DB1884 is $1,080.64. Drawers beat roll-outs behind a door because you pull once instead of twice. They cost more, and among the lines here only the frameless ones offer them. If you are weighing frameless for the whole kitchen, our framed vs frameless comparison covers what else changes.

Base pantry pull-out

When there is no room for a tall box, a narrow base pull-out holds spices, oils and cans at counter height. Fabuwood's version is a Blum-runner insert that goes inside a full-height-door base you buy separately: the 9-inch SPO-B9 BLUM is $806.00 (list $1,240.00) plus the B09FD cabinet at $273.00, so $1,079.00 together, and the 12-inch SPO-B12 BLUM with its B12FD base comes to $1,248.00. US Cabinet Depot sells the 9-inch as one kit, BT9PO, with the pull-out fixed to the cabinet floor and the door, Blumotion soft-close full-extension slides rated for 110 pounds, at $570.68 in Shaker Antique White, Dove or Grey. More narrow options, including beam-mounted units, are in our guide to beam-mounted pull-outs.

Utility (broom) cabinet and the stacked "pantry wall"

A utility cabinet is a tall box with few or no shelves, for brooms and a vacuum. Fabuwood can wall off a 6-inch broom section at the bottom of a pantry with its INSERT BROOM DIVIDER modification, which our Fabuwood accessories guide explains. Stacking bases, a counter and 12-inch uppers into a hutch-style "pantry wall" also works, but it costs more per inch of shelf than one tall box because you pay for more cabinets and a countertop.

Loose Shelves or Roll-Outs: What Ships in the Box

This part of a pantry quote surprises people most, so here is what each line sends.

Line Ships with Roll-out option Runner spec
Fabuwood Allure 5 shelves (84″) or 6 (90″, 96″), 21″ deep, shelves and clips packed loose in a separate box ROD roll-out drawers, priced per tray, "can be used for pantries"; a 12″-deep pantry adds a CUT-ROD modification charge Blumotion concealed runners: partial extension (E) or full extension (H)
KCD 4 shelves (5 in the 96″ box) YN-ROT kit: two dovetailed solid-wood trays and four tracks, sized to fit the P18 and P24 pantries and the 90- and 96-inch P30 Side-mount, full-extension, soft-close
US Cabinet Depot framed Shelves (standard U SKU) Separate RS kit SKU with four roll-out shelves; flat-pack arrives in five boxes Side-mount ball bearing, no soft-close, 35 lb per shelf recommended max
J&K Top shelves, one middle shelf and three roll-out trays Built in Not detailed for the built-in trays; J&K's separate roll-out trays use ball-bearing soft-close side glides

Sources are each maker's spec book, which you can open from our Fabuwood Allure spec book, KCD spec book and US Cabinet Depot Shaker spec book pages. The Fabuwood book says it plainly on every pantry page: "Tall Pantry shelves and clips are shipped together loose and will come packaged separately from the cabinet." Keep that second box; it is the one that goes missing in a garage full of cartons.

Fabuwood's roll-outs come in two versions. Per the spec book, E trays run on partial-extension Blumotion slides and H trays on full-extension slides, so H lets the whole tray clear the face frame. Current prices per tray: ROD-B18 BLUM E is $201.50 (list $310.00), the 24-inch $214.50, the 30-inch $227.50 and the 36-inch $240.50, with H $45.50 to $52.00 more. The tray code names the cabinet width it fits, so an 18-inch pantry takes the B18 tray. The other widths are in the roll-out section of that guide.

Worked example: the same 18-inch pantry, three ways

Say the plan calls for an 18 by 84-inch pantry beside the refrigerator, and you want trays in the bottom half.

  • Fabuwood Galaxy: TP182484 at $1,053.00, plus three ROD-B18 BLUM E trays at $201.50 ($604.50), is $1,657.50. If its right side is exposed, the finished-side option adds $169.00 in most Galaxy finishes, for $1,826.50. The loose shelves go in the upper section.
  • US Cabinet Depot Shaker White: the kit U1884244RS is $952.16, against $676.28 for the plain U188424. Four roll-outs for $275.88, about $69 a tray, but without soft-close, and rated for 35 pounds each.
  • J&K: WP188427 includes three roll-out trays, so there is nothing to add. It is quote-only, and it ships RTA, so budget assembly time, and remember it is 27 inches deep.

What we try to prevent is a 24-inch-deep pantry quoted with fixed shelves only, followed three months after move-in by a call to add trays to a box full of groceries. Order them with the cabinet.

What a Pantry Cabinet Costs, With Real Prices

These are current prices from our live store listings, checked September 30, 2026; prices change, so the cart is the final word. For Fabuwood we show both numbers, because the site applies a 35% discount to Fabuwood list prices; the "our price" column is what you pay. For US Cabinet Depot the list column is US Cabinet Depot's own list price, and our price is shown beside it; the frameless Torino line has no list price on our site. KCD and J&K are quote-only and not in the table.

USCD Shaker White U3096244RS (four roll-outs) 30″ × 24″ × 96″ $2,941.00 $1,294.04
USCD Torino White Pine T3084 (frameless) 30″ × 84″, four doors n/a $997.04

Finish moves the price in some lines and not others. Thirteen of Fabuwood's fifteen Galaxy finishes price the box identically, so the Galaxy numbers above hold for Frost, Nickel, Linen or Indigo; Desert Oak and Natural Oak run about 20% higher. US Cabinet Depot's 18-inch U188424 has four tiers: $676.28 in Shaker White, Antique White, Dove, Grey and Unfinished; $747.56 in Shaker Ivy, Navy, Black, Honey, Cinder and Edgeline White; $784.52 in most Haven, Oxford and Casselberry colors; and $818.84 in Shaker Essence Oak, Haven Ember, Oxford Mist and Oxford Toffee.

A pantry rarely ships alone. Budget for the pieces around it:

  • Exposed side: on a Galaxy pantry, a factory-finished side adds $169.00 per side in most finishes (list $260.00; Frost and Mocha currently show $211.25), or a tall end skin (SK TALL) is $169.00 and the 12-inch-deep skin (SK T12D) $126.75.
  • Filler: a 3-inch by 96-inch tall filler (TF396) is $84.50, and you want one wherever the pantry meets a wall or a refrigerator.
  • Roll-outs: $201.50 to $240.50 per Fabuwood tray, as above.
  • Crown and scribe: if the pantry runs near the ceiling, crown closes the gap, and a thin scribe strip handles an uneven ceiling or wall.

Installation is separate, since we ship nationwide and do not install. Fixr's 2026 cabinet installation cost guide puts installer labor at $40 to $100 an hour, or $50 to $200 per linear foot, and a pantry is only 1½ to 3 feet of that. The full-kitchen budget in what RTA cabinets cost for a whole kitchen shows a pantry in context.

Pantry Cabinet vs Walk-In Pantry: The Storage Math

Two questions here: does one cabinet hold enough, and would a small walk-in be cheaper? The NKBA method above answers the first. Its Guideline 27 sets a pantry allowance of 180 inches of shelf frontage for a small kitchen (under 150 square feet), 230 for a medium one (151 to 350) and 310 for a large one, and they let you move frontage between wall, base, drawer and pantry storage as long as the kitchen's total holds.

Infographic comparing a 5 by 5 foot walk-in pantry with about 985 inches of shelf frontage on 25 square feet against a 36-inch pantry cabinet with 360 inches on 6 square feet
Shelf frontage by the NKBA method: a 5 x 5 walk-in holds about 985 inches on 25 square feet of floor; a 36 x 24-inch pantry cabinet holds 360 on 6.
Kitchen size (NKBA) Pantry allowance One way to meet it Frontage Our price (Fabuwood Galaxy)
Small, under 150 sq ft 180″ TP182484, 18″ × 24″ × 84″ 180″ $1,053.00
Medium, 151–350 sq ft 230″ TP242484, 24″ × 24″ × 84″ 240″ $1,270.75
Large, over 350 sq ft 310″ TP362484, 36″ × 24″ × 84″ 360″ $1,712.75

One full-depth pantry covers the allowance in each case. The kitchens that feel short of food storage are usually the ones with no tall box at all, or a 12-inch one doing a 24-inch job. It also squares with the rule of thumb in our space-saving cabinet guide that one 24-inch pantry stores about as much as three wall cabinets. A 24 by 30-inch wall cabinet with two shelves and its floor gives 24 × 3 × 1 = 72 inches, and 240 is a little over three of those.

Now a walk-in. Take a 5 by 5-foot closet with 16-inch-deep shelves on three walls, five levels high. The back wall gives 60 × 5 × 1.33 = about 400 inches, and each side wall, shortened by the back shelf's 16 inches, gives about 293. That is roughly 985 inches, about as much as two and a half 36-inch pantry cabinets.

Cost is where it gets honest. Cost to Renovate's 2026 pantry buildout calculator puts a closet conversion with basic wire shelving around $1,400, a new walk-in framed into 30 to 50 square feet of non-load-bearing space around $5,500, and the national average at $4,500 within a $1,500 to $10,000 range. Other published guides quote wider spreads, so treat those as ballparks, not bids.

  • If the closet already exists, converting it costs about $1.40 per inch of shelf. No cabinet comes close.
  • If you have to build the room, $5,500 over 985 inches is about $5.60 per inch, the same range as a full-depth pantry cabinet ($4.76 to $5.85 per inch in the table above).
  • If floor area is the constraint, the cabinet wins outright. A 36 by 24-inch pantry covers 6 square feet of floor. A 5 by 5 walk-in takes 25, plus its framing and a door swing.

So a walk-in is the better buy when a closet or spare room already sits next to the kitchen, and a pantry cabinet is the better buy when the space would come out of the kitchen itself. Some kitchens get both: a walk-in for bulk and appliances, and an 18-inch pantry by the fridge for everyday food.

Where to Put a Pantry Cabinet

A tall box is the one cabinet that can wreck a working layout, so placement follows a few rules.

  • At the end of a run, not in the middle. NKBA Guideline 4 says a full-height, full-depth obstacle, and it names the tall pantry, should not separate two primary work centers. A pantry between the sink and the range cuts the counter into two short pieces and forces you to walk around it.
  • Beside the refrigerator, on its hinge side. The fridge needs 15 inches of landing counter on its handle side (NKBA Guideline 16), so the pantry belongs on the other side. Hinge the pantry door away from the fridge so both open toward the same aisle.
  • With a filler against the fridge or a wall. A refrigerator door that has to swing past 90 degrees to release its drawers will hit a pantry mounted tight to it. A 3-inch tall filler usually solves it; the fridge's installation sheet gives the clearance.
  • Out of the tight aisle. Measure the 42- or 48-inch aisle from the pantry face, not from the counter edge. If the numbers don't work at 24 inches deep, that is the case for a 12-inch box.
  • Fixed to the wall. A tall pantry is screwed through its back rail into studs so it cannot tip when a loaded door or roll-out is pulled. A 12-inch box, with the smallest footprint, needs it most.

In a small kitchen the pantry often replaces a run of uppers rather than adding to them; the small kitchen layout guide shows that trade.

The Ceiling Diagonal and Other Delivery Checks

A pantry is delivered lying down and stood up in the room. When you tip a box upright, its top corner sweeps an arc as long as the box's diagonal, so the diagonal has to clear the ceiling.

Box (height × depth) Diagonal Stands up under a 96″ (8-foot) ceiling?
84″ × 24″ 87.4″ Yes, with room to spare
90″ × 24″ 93.1″ Yes, about 3″ clear
93″ × 24″ 96.05″ No, by a hair; tip it up under a 97″ ceiling or more
96″ × 24″ 99.0″ No
96″ × 12″ 96.7″ No

Tipping it up sideways does not help, because the width then sets the arc: a 96-inch, 18-inch-wide box still needs about 97.7 inches. Under an 8-foot ceiling the practical choices are the 90-inch pantry with crown above it, or the 84 with a soffit or a stacked cabinet; a 96-inch box has to be assembled standing in the room, which is only practical with an RTA box. Our wall and tall cabinet guide makes the same point about 96-inch towers (√(96² + 24²) ≈ 99 inches). Measure the ceiling in three places before you order; old ceilings sag, and new floors add height.

Also walk the route in: a tall box has to turn corners in hallways and stairwells, and it is not a one-person carry (J&K lists its 30 by 96-inch pantry at 225 pounds). Our kitchen dimensions checklist lists the other measurements to take before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions

How deep is a pantry cabinet?

Most are 24 inches deep, like base cabinets, with shelves about 21 inches deep inside. Fabuwood also builds every width 12 inches deep, and J&K builds its pantries 27 inches deep.

How wide is a standard pantry cabinet?

One-door pantries are 15 or 18 inches wide. Two-door pantries are 24, 30 or 36 inches. The 18 and the 24 are the usual choices beside a refrigerator, because they take little counter run.

How tall are pantry cabinets?

84, 90 or 96 inches in most framed lines, to line up with 30-, 36- or 42-inch wall cabinets. Fabuwood Galaxy adds 93 inches in its Frost, Dove, Indigo and Timber finishes.

Do pantry cabinets come with pull-out shelves?

Only some do. J&K includes three roll-out trays and US Cabinet Depot sells a four-roll-out kit version. Fabuwood and KCD ship shelves, with roll-outs ordered as an accessory.

How much does a pantry cabinet cost?

At current prices in our store, from $676.28 for an 18 by 84-inch US Cabinet Depot Shaker pantry to $2,343.25 for a 36 by 96-inch Fabuwood Galaxy double-door, before roll-outs, finished sides and fillers. A Fabuwood 18-inch pantry with three roll-out trays comes to $1,657.50. KCD and J&K pantries are quoted on request.

Is a pantry cabinet cheaper than a walk-in pantry?

Not if you already have a closet to convert; at around $1,400 that is far cheaper per inch of shelf. Against a walk-in built from scratch, a full-depth pantry cabinet costs about the same per inch and uses a quarter of the floor space.

Can a pantry cabinet go right next to the refrigerator?

Yes, it is the most common spot. Put it on the fridge's hinge side, hinge the pantry door away from the fridge, and leave a 3-inch filler if the fridge door must swing past 90 degrees.

What is the difference between a pantry cabinet and a utility cabinet?

Mostly the inside. A pantry is fitted with shelves or trays for food; a utility cabinet leaves tall open space for a broom, mop or vacuum. US Cabinet Depot calls its shelved pantries utility cabinets, so read the description as well as the name.
