Sixty inches: one bowl or two, and why two costs less

Five feet of cabinet is the width at which a double vanity becomes genuinely usable rather than merely possible, and this is the only width in the range that offers the choice. Two units, one with a basin at each end and one with a single bowl — and the double is the cheaper of the two, which is the opposite of what almost everybody expects.
The two units
Both are sink-and-drawer combos on the standard 34 1/2" by 21" bath carcass; there is no plain sink base at this width.

Which one you actually want
Two basins solve exactly one problem: two people at the sink at the same moment. If that is your morning, take the double and accept that the counter is now three separate small surfaces rather than one long one.
If the household staggers its mornings — and most do — the single-bowl unit is the better bathroom. One large basin, one faucet to buy, one drain to plumb, a long uninterrupted stretch of counter and more drawer space. It costs more as a cabinet and considerably less as a finished installation.
The cabinet is the cheap part
The $149.50 between these two boxes is not the real money. A second basin means a second faucet, a second drain assembly, a second set of stop valves and, in most retrofits, a plumber opening a wall to add a waste connection. That work routinely costs several times the difference between the two cabinets.
It also means a wider top with two cut-outs, which pushes some stone suppliers into a higher bracket. Price the whole assembly — cabinet, top, bowls, faucets, rough-in — before deciding, because the cabinet page is the one place where a double looks like a bargain.
Buying the double by default
Buying a double because the wall is 60" and a double is what you put on a 60" wall. Resale folklore says two basins add value; in a house with one full bathroom, the counter space and the drawer capacity you gave up are what the next owner will notice on a Tuesday morning.
The second is forgetting the room in front. A vanity this wide usually faces a bath or a shower, and two people at two basins need standing room behind them. Check the clearance from the cabinet face to whatever is opposite before the width is settled.
