Galaxy Linen Cabinet Accessories

Linen reads as a color — a light beige with a touch of greige — and the light you put under the wall cabinets lands on the counter and bounces straight back up onto the doors. Fabuwood describes the finish as a neutral beige with warm undertones, and warm undertones need warm light to survive. At 2700–3000K the doors hold their cream. At 4000K and up, the same doors go gray at the edges, the counter looks colder than it is, and a kitchen that looked settled at noon looks tired at nine.

On a white kitchen a cool bulb reads as crisp; on this one it reads as a mistake, which is why under cabinet lighting for beige cabinets is a spec question before it is a style question. Nothing on the product list states a color temperature for the bars or the pucks, so ask us for the spec sheet before ordering — or settle it in the room with the tunable strip, the one fixture here where you set the temperature yourself.

The Timber and Walnut bars deserve a second look on a beige kitchen: a Walnut bar under the uppers repeats a note that a butcher-block counter or an oak floor has already started. With cool gray quartz, skip the wood tone — and reconsider the beige. That combination is the subject of the Linen vs Dove comparison, and it usually ends with Dove.

A lit kitchen is never one line item. Bars are sized per cabinet, so measure the flat underside of each upper between the light rail and the scribe — narrower than the cabinet — and take the length that fits. For the 9″ to 15″ uppers over a refrigerator or beside a hood, the puck sets W09 through W39 do the job a bar cannot, each sized to the cabinet it serves.

Count it out. Two 36″ bars, one 24″ bar, a puck set over the fridge, a driver, a connector and a switch is seven lines of lighting on a 10×10 kitchen — a real share of the order next to the cabinets themselves. Every kitchen ends up with a strip of dead width where the 3″ cabinet grid meets a wall or a range, and the usual answer is a plain filler from the decorative accessories page. This page has the alternative: a 3-inch or 6-inch spice pull-out built into the same strip. Its face is finished in the collection color, so on a beige shaker run it reads as one more door rather than a blank stripe.

Two cautions. A pull-out needs clear depth behind its face, so it cannot live in a filler that exists to let a door clear a refrigerator handle. And the wall versions are matched to the height of the wall cabinet next to them, so choose that first.

These go inside a base cabinet you already own, each sized to a cabinet width. A pull-out trash cabinet is a plain base plus this insert, and the inserts come at 15″, 18″ and 21″ — GLN TC15 BLUM, TC18 and TC21 — with a full-height-door version (the FHD suffix) for each width, and a 15″ vanity unit, TCV15 BLUM. Plain and FHD are the same unit built behind different doors, so match the suffix to the cabinet.

Roll-out shelves — the list calls them roll-out drawers — are the simplest upgrade on the page and the one with the most sizes. They come at every width from 15″ to 36″ in two heights — E for standard, H for high — and the decision between the two is about what goes in them.

Standard height for pans and lids, high for small appliances and stacked pots. Two per double-door base is the normal count; behind a single 18″ or 21″ door, one roll-out at the bottom under a fixed shelf is usually enough.

The corner has its own list. The blind-base pull-outs — GLN BPO-BLB42/45 and BLB48/51, each in a left and a right hand — are sized to the cabinet they serve and the side the blind panel sits on, so check both against the box list. The full-width base pull-outs — 9″ and 12″ SPO and UPO units, UKBPO units at 12″ and 15″, and 18″ and 24″ CWO units — differ by internal layout, and the live titles do not spell it out. Ask before assuming a 9″ pull-out is a spice rack rather than a tray unit.

Drawer organizer inserts are finish-matched wood trays sized to a drawer width range, and this list runs deeper than most: twenty parts. The simple end is the loose trays — GLN CD-15/18 up to CD-33/36 — plus the UT, DKI and DPS trays and two K-cup trays. The abbreviations are not explained on the live list, so treat the fit range as the fact and ask us what each tray is divided for. The heavier end — the DCD, CBKD, DTD and CHD parts — ships with its own Blum hardware, which makes it a drawer rather than a tray in a drawer.

A tray lives in the shallow top drawer of a bank, so the cabinet under it has to have one. A 3-drawer base does. Count those on the plan and that is your insert count.

At the sink, the tilt-out tray — the false drawer front that hinges down to hold sponges — comes at 11″, 14″ and 24″, and there is an under-sink mat as well. The mat is what keeps a slow leak from staining the veneer interior of the one cabinet every guest opens. The sink base page shows which tray width matches which cabinet.

Two parts sit on the counter rather than inside a cabinet. The 24-inch appliance garage cabinet — GLN WAG2418, the standard unit, or WDCAG2418, the diagonal corner version — closes the toaster and the coffee maker behind a Linen door, and a stainless appliance parked permanently against a beige wall is a cold rectangle in a warm room. The stemware racks, GLN STMW30 and STMW36, hang glasses under a 30″ or 36″ wall cabinet and belong beside a glass-front cabinet if you have one, so the display reads as a single zone.
