Almost nobody orders a whole kitchen in navy. Indigo goes on the island, or the lower run, or both, and a lighter finish carries the uppers and the perimeter, so an order from the Galaxy Indigo loose parts page nearly always comes out of a room with two finishes in it. That changes the questions. Which half of the kitchen is the part for?
Every Galaxy finish sells the same codes. A W3030 is a W3030 in Frost, Dove, Linen or Indigo, and so is its carcass and its shelf, which is exactly how a two-tone order goes wrong: the code on a note is right and the colour is not. The label inside the cabinet settles it. Complete Indigo cabinets carry GI in front of the code (GI B36, GI DB30) and the parts on this page carry GIN- (GIN-B36-BO, GIN-AS-B36). If the label names another finish, the part belongs on that finish’s page, even when the damaged box sits right beside the navy island.
It matters most for a carcass. The interior is the same natural veneer in every Galaxy finish, but the face frame and the exposed sides are painted, and a full-overlay door still leaves a thin line of frame showing between doors and along the edges of a run. A white box under navy doors draws a white outline around every one of them. So an island box is ordered in Indigo even if the kitchen is mostly white, and a perimeter box is ordered in the perimeter colour even if the damage happened while the island was going in.

An island is the hardest-working run in the room and the one most often bumped, leaned on and hit by a cart during the rest of a remodel. It is also built from a different set of codes than a perimeter wall: wide door bases, deep drawer banks, a bench seat or file drawer on the seating end, and a transition base where the island turns a corner. If one of those boxes is damaged and its doors or fronts are fine, the -BO listing is the box alone — assembled, painted on the frame and exposed faces, no doors, no drawer fronts, no hardware. Two cautions. The drawer rows are the expensive ones, and the listing does not say whether a drawer-base carcass ships with its dovetailed drawer boxes; confirm with your designer before ordering one, because a bank missing its boxes is a much bigger repair than a bank missing its fronts. And the farm sink is the one island box that costs proportionally more than the rest, about 70% of the complete cabinet rather than the usual 64%, so an island sink with a damaged apron is usually cheaper replaced whole.

Stools, shoes and mop heads: touching up a navy chip
The seating side takes the knocks. On an opaque navy the damage shows light, as a fleck of the paler layer beneath.
The seating side of an island meets stool legs, shoe heels and the vacuum every day, and it is where most Indigo touch-ups end up. A saturated paint behaves differently from a white one here. Fingerprints and faint smudges disappear into it better than they do on Frost, but a chip goes through the colour to the paler layer underneath and reads as a light fleck from across the room. The same is true of dust along a top rail, which a navy shows and a white hides.
That fleck is why the factory touch-up kit at $62.40 is worth more on this finish than on most. Indigo is a muted slate navy, greyed rather than bright, and it can lean faintly violet under warm light. A store-mixed navy tends to miss in one of three directions: too royal and bright, too close to black, or too purple. Each of those reads as a different colour, not a slightly lighter one, and the eye catches a wrong hue faster than a wrong shade. The kit is matched to the finish at the factory; use it for chips and scuffs, not as a way to repaint a door.
Keep the application thin and let it cure flat. Galaxy is a matte-satin paint, not a glossy one, so a touch-up that has been buffed or built up in layers catches the light as a shiny spot even when the colour is right. Where the navy stops: edge banding at the colour seam
A two-tone kitchen puts its site cuts in predictable places. The navy lower run ends and a white tall pantry begins, and the filler between them gets ripped to width. The island’s end panel is trimmed to meet the floor. A light upper stops above a navy base and the scribe along the wall is cut to fit. Every one of those cuts exposes raw core, and on a painted navy a raw edge is a pale stripe that shows immediately.
The Indigo edge banding at $7.15 seals and colours that edge. The rule at a seam is simple: band the piece that was cut, in that piece’s finish. A navy filler gets navy banding even when it sits against a white pantry, and a white filler against the navy run gets its own finish’s banding from its own page. The third finish item, listed only as PSC at $45.50, is not described on its listing. We will not guess what it contains; tell your designer what you are trying to finish and they will confirm whether PSC is the part.
Inside the lowers: base shelves, clips and the restrictor clip
Because Indigo usually sits low, most of its shelf orders are base shelves, and each one is ordered by the cabinet it fits: AS-B30 for a 30″ base, AS-B36 for a 36″, AS-B09 up to AS-B48. The price list has a pattern worth knowing. The base shelves step in pairs rather than by every width: AS-B30 and AS-B33 are both $78.00, AS-B36 and AS-B39 are both $110.50, and AS-B42 and AS-B48 are both $113.75. A 48″ base shelf costs the same as a 42″ one, so there is no saving in splitting a wide island base into smaller cabinets to cheapen the shelving.
Shelves for the island’s corner and seating-end cabinets have their own codes: AS-BRA24 at $64.35 for the 24″ base return angle, AS-BT12 at $34.45, and AS-LSB33 and AS-LSB36 at $146.25 and $204.75 for lazy susan bases. Shelf clips sell by the piece at $0.65 each, in packs up to AS-CLIP-6 at $3.90; a shelf needs four. The restrictor clips earn a specific job on an island. Adding a navy island to a kitchen you already own
A common Indigo project is not a repair at all: the perimeter stays white and a new or rebuilt island goes in navy. The carcass listings look like a shortcut for that, and they are not one. A box without doors only saves money when the doors already exist, and here they do not. Doors and drawer fronts are not sold loose on this page, so a navy island is an order of complete Indigo cabinets from the base cabinet page, not a set of -BO boxes.

Can I use a white cabinet box under navy doors?
