Galaxy Indigo cabinet accessories: what each price rung buys, and the light that keeps navy blue

Prices quoted in this article were read off the grid on the review date; the live price grid on this page governs.
People who choose a navy kitchen have usually already spent their nerve on the colour, and the Galaxy Indigo cabinet accessories list is where the budget quietly leaks away afterwards. It holds 123 parts, from a $71.50 puck light to a $1,433.25 pull-out, and nothing on it is ranked. So this page ranks it: four price rungs sorted by how much daily use each dollar buys, three costed accessory budgets, and then the one line on the list that decides whether the doors still look blue after sunset.
Four price rungs, sorted by cost per daily use
A roll-out shelf at $201.50 gets pulled twenty times a day. A $1,394.25 blind-corner unit gets opened for the roasting pan at Thanksgiving. Both are honest upgrades, but they are not the same value, and a list that mixes them alphabetically hides that. Sort by price and a pattern appears: the cheapest parts are the ones people touch most, and the dearest ones solve a single awkward box.
| Rung | What sits there | Price range | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| Under $300 | Roll-out drawers GI ROD-B15 to B36 (E and H heights), the smaller loose drawer trays, K-cup trays, sink tilt-out trays, the under-sink mat, puck sets, the interior and tunable LED strips, the plastic lazy susan | $71.50–$286.00 | Buy freely. Every one of these is used daily and none needs a special box. |
| $300–$750 | Filler pull-outs (3″ and 6″, base and wall), 15″ and 18″ trash pull-outs, the larger loose trays, Blum drawer inserts DCD-15 to DCD-36, stemware racks, most wood lazy susan inserts, LED bars 24″–48″ | $302.25–$734.50 | The rung where most kitchens should stop. Trash, spice and a real drawer insert live here. |
| $750–$1,100 | The 21″ trash pull-out, both appliance garages, 9″ and 12″ base pull-outs, CWO-B18, MLU-B18, DTD drawer inserts, the tall 27″ wedge lazy susan, LED bars 54″–60″ and the Walnut bars from 48″ | $757.25–$1,098.50 | Buy one, for the problem you already have. Most kitchens do not need two. |
| Over $1,100 | CHD-B18 insert, UKBPO base pull-outs, CWO-B24, the four blind-corner pull-outs, the 1½″ slim filler pull-out | $1,111.50–$1,433.25 | Only where a specific box would otherwise be dead. Price these against a layout change first. |
That last verdict matters most. A blind-corner pull-out, GI BPO-BLB42/45 at $1,277.25 or BLB48/51 at $1,394.25 in a left or right hand, rescues a corner that the plan created. Sometimes the cheaper answer is a lazy susan base with a $429.00 wood insert, or an L-shape redrawn so the corner is a dead filler rather than a dead cabinet. A designer can show both options on the same plan.
The bottom rung: roll-outs, trays and the sink
Roll-out drawers are the most useful part on the list and, rung for rung, the cheapest. GI ROD-B… BLUM comes at every base width from 15″ to 36″ in two heights, E (standard) and H (high), and the spread between the smallest and the largest is barely $100.
| Base width | E height | H height |
|---|---|---|
| 15″ | $188.50 | $240.50 |
| 18″ | $201.50 | $250.25 |
| 21″ | $204.75 | $253.50 |
| 24″ | $214.50 | $263.25 |
| 27″ | $217.75 | $266.50 |
| 30″ | $227.50 | $279.50 |
| 33″ | $230.75 | $282.75 |
| 36″ | $240.50 | $286.00 |
Pick E for pots and lids and H for the stand mixer and the stock pot. A door base with a fixed shelf usually earns two; a narrow base earns one at the bottom.
The loose trays on this rung sit in a drawer you already own and name the drawer widths they fit: GI CD-15/18 at $201.50, DKI-18/24 at $214.50, UT-15/24 at $227.50, CD-21/24 at $273.00, and the DPS trays at $256.75 and $302.25. The K-cup trays are $224.25 for an 18″ drawer and $266.50 for a 21″–24″ one. The list does not say what each abbreviation is divided for, so ask before you choose between two that fit the same drawer.
At the sink, the three tilt-out trays (11″, 14″ and 24″) are $162.50 each and the under-sink mat is $156.00. The mat is the cheapest insurance on the list: a slow drip under a sink stains the veneer interior long before anyone notices it. The sink base page shows which tray width suits which front.
The middle rungs: trash, spice and one real drawer insert
This is where a kitchen gets its daily routine. The trash pull-out comes at 15″ (GI TC15 BLUM, $617.50), 18″ ($734.50) and 21″ ($809.25), each also as an FHD version at the same price for a full-height door instead of a door under a drawer. The vanity version, TCV15 BLUM, is $708.50. None of the titles says how many bins each holds, so confirm that with your designer if recycling has to fit in the same unit.
The filler pull-outs turn the 3″ or 6″ strip beside a range into storage: GI SPO-BF3 at $334.75, SPO-BF6 at $380.25, their BLUM versions at $585.00 and $695.50, and TBPO-BF3 at $432.25. The wall versions run $380.25 to $497.25 and match the 30″, 36″, 39″ or 42″ height of the upper beside them. Their faces come in the finish they are ordered in. On a two-tone plan with a white perimeter and a navy island, the one beside the range belongs to the perimeter collection, not this one.
The Blum drawer inserts are the step up from a loose tray. GI DCD-15 to DCD-36 cost $354.25 to $676.00 and ship with their own Blum hardware, which makes each one a drawer inside a drawer rather than a tray. One of them in the top drawer of a 3-drawer base is the upgrade people mention a year later. Six of them is a lot of money for cutlery.
Three accessory budgets, costed

Numbers make this easier to plan. Here are three accessory orders for a typical L-shaped kitchen, all at displayed prices and all built from the rungs above.
- About $600: two GI ROD-B30 BLUM E roll-outs ($455.00) and a 24″ sink tilt-out tray ($162.50). Total $617.50. The pan base and the sink are sorted, and nothing else is touched.
- About $1,500: the 18″ trash pull-out ($734.50), the same two roll-outs ($455.00) and a 3″ spice filler pull-out, SPO-BF3 ($334.75). Total $1,524.25. This covers the four things a kitchen does every day.
- About $3,000: the $1,500 order with the spice unit upgraded to the 6″ SPO-BF6 BLUM ($695.50), plus a left- or right-hand BPO-BLB42/45 blind-corner pull-out ($1,277.25). Total $3,162.25. Only buy it if the plan really has a blind corner.
For scale, the Indigo 10×10 kitchen lists at $4,400.00 in cabinets. The middle budget adds about a third to that, which is a sensible share. The top budget adds about 70 percent, which is why that corner unit has to be doing real work.
Under cabinet lighting on navy: the colour temperature that keeps it blue

This is where Indigo breaks the usual advice. Beige and off-white doors want warm 2700K light. A navy door can go wrong under it: very warm light carries little blue for the paint to reflect, so the finish turns muddy, grayish or faintly violet (the faint violet cast Fabuwood’s own copy mentions shows up most under warm bulbs). Around 3000K is the usual middle ground. Cooler 3500K keeps the navy blue but can turn a white upper run clinical. The live list does not state a colour temperature for any fixture, so ask your designer for the spec sheet. Or use the one part where you set it yourself: GI LED STRIP TUNABLE WHITE 10MM, $286.00.
On a lowers-only plan the bars hang under the white uppers, not under anything navy, and the navy fronts only get the spill. That is the case for a tunable or 3000K source: it has to flatter two colours at once.
| Part | Price | Why it is there |
|---|---|---|
| Two GI LED FLS36 bars (standard) | $1,235.00 | The counter light either side of the range. Timber is the same price; Walnut is $715.00 a bar. |
| GI LED W18 puck set | $97.50 | The 18″ upper over the refrigerator gap, where a bar will not fit |
| GI LED DRIVER | $204.75 | The power supply. Without it, nothing lights. |
| GI LED WLS SWITCH | $221.00 | A wireless switch, so the finished wall is not opened for a new switch leg |
| Total | $1,758.25 |
The bars come in 24″ to 60″ lengths ($487.50 to $1,027.00 standard), the puck sets in 9″ to 39″ cabinet widths ($74.75 to $152.75), and the mesh connector is $201.50 if a run has to jump a window or a hood. Match the bar housing to the uppers it sits under, not to the navy below. The Timber housing is the one to pick if the room already has white oak in the floor or shelves.
Common questions
- Which cabinet accessories are worth the money in a navy kitchen?
- The cheap, daily ones first: roll-out drawers ($188.50–$286.00 by width), a trash pull-out ($617.50–$809.25), a 3″ or 6″ spice filler pull-out ($334.75–$695.50) and one Blum drawer insert. Blind-corner pull-outs at $1,277.25–$1,394.25 are worth it only if the layout genuinely creates a blind corner.
- What color temperature LED is best for navy blue cabinets?
- Around 3000K for most rooms. Very warm 2700K light can turn a navy finish muddy or slightly violet, and 3500K and above keeps it blue but can make white uppers look cold. The list does not publish a temperature for the bars or pucks, so ask for the spec, or use the $286.00 tunable white strip and set it in the room.
- How much does it cost to add pull-outs and roll-outs to a Fabuwood kitchen?
- At displayed prices, about $600 covers two roll-outs and a sink tilt-out tray; about $1,500 adds an 18″ trash pull-out and a spice filler pull-out; and about $3,100 upgrades the spice unit and adds a blind-corner pull-out. The Indigo 10×10 kitchen itself lists at $4,400.00.
- Do Indigo filler pull-outs come with a navy face?
- Yes. The GI filler pull-outs are faced in the collection finish. On a two-tone kitchen, order a pull-out from the collection of the cabinets it sits between. A spice pull-out beside a range in a white perimeter run comes from the white collection, not this one.
- Does navy paint show fingerprints on cabinet pulls and pull-outs?
- Much less than white does. The trade-off is chips: a knock on a dark opaque door shows as a pale fleck, and dust shows on the flat top edges. Hardware that closes gently protects the busiest faces, so ask how each pull-out closes, and the cabinet care guide covers touch-ups.
- What does a complete under-cabinet LED package cost?
- For one wall with two 36″ bars, a puck set for an 18″ upper, a driver and a wireless switch, $1,758.25 at displayed prices. Bars alone do not light: the $204.75 driver is required, and a $201.50 mesh connector is needed if a run crosses a window or a hood.
