Three ways to get Galaxy Linen bun feet under a vanity, and which route to take

Both listings on this page are the same size and the same mounting; only the profile differs. GL TBF is the taper, GL CBF the cove, and both are described as bun feet for a platform — which means the real decision is not taper or cove but which of the three ways of getting Galaxy Linen bun feet under a vanity you take, because two of them do not need this page at all.
How to add feet to a bathroom vanity: three routes compared

The useful fact in the first two rows: a TF or CF platform is the flat platform with these feet already on it. So the one thing not to do is order a footed platform and a set of GL TBF together. Check the platform code ending before feet go on the quote.
One caveat on the second row: the listing does not say whether one line buys one foot or a set. A platform needs four; ask us and we will pin down what a single line buys before the order goes in.
Four inches of foot, five of assembly: how tall the vanity ends up
Each foot is a 4″ cube, per the distributor listings. Add the inch or so of platform above it and you arrive at the 5″ overall figure the footed assemblies carry in the catalogue — two routes to the same number.
Now put that under a 34½″ box and a countertop: about 41″, and no bathroom counter should be 41″. Which box height Fabuwood intends these assemblies to carry is not something we can confirm from a spec sheet, so we will not guess. Send us the box, platform and top you have in mind and we will check the finished height against the spec book before anything ships.
Taper vs cove bun feet, in one paragraph
Fabuwood pitches the taper as the contemporary profile — it narrows toward the floor and reads as a plain leg — and the cove as the traditional one, a concave curve that reads as case furniture. Same size, same mount. On this door, in most rooms, take the taper: it stays out of the shaker's way, and understated is the cheaper mistake. The cove belongs in a period house or a big primary bath with a framed mirror and molding. If you are also weighing the decorative onlay, choose feet or ornament rather than both.
What the feet stand on
Feet replace a toe kick with four inches of visible floor, which is the strongest practical case for furniture feet on a bathroom vanity: a mop reaches under a cabinet you can see under, and a small room reads bigger when the floor runs beneath it. You do stand an inch or two further from the bowl, since a plinth does not recess. At a bathroom vanity most people never notice.
One caution particular to this beige. The feet and plinth are the lowest, most floor-lit pieces of the finish, and floor light is whatever the tile bounces back. Warm tile, stone or wood flatters them; cool gray porcelain pushes them toward muddy in a spot no warm bulb can reach. On a gray floor we would keep the toe kick, which sits in shadow, where the colour question disappears.

- Can I screw bun feet straight into a vanity cabinet?
- Not these. They mount to a platform that the vanity sits on, so the load runs through the plinth. The platforms are listed under side panels in this range, sized by vanity width.
- Should I buy a footed platform or a flat one plus feet?
- Either — both give the same footed plinth, and Linen quotes on request either way. What you must not do is buy both: a code ending TF or CF already has its feet.
- How much taller does a vanity get with feet?
- The feet are 4″ and the footed assembly 5″ overall. On a 34½″ box with a top that is near 41″, so confirm the intended pairing with us before ordering rather than assuming.
- Is a bun foot listing for one foot or a set?
- The listing does not say, and we will not assume. Ask us what a single line buys before ordering; a freestanding vanity needs four.
- Taper or cove bun feet for a beige shaker vanity?
- Taper, unless the room is a period one. It narrows toward the floor and stays quiet beside a plain door. Cove reads as traditional furniture and needs a room dressed to match.
- Do vanity feet look right on a gray tile floor?
- Usually not in this finish — the beige goes muddy at floor level against cool gray, and you cannot light the floor warmly. On warm tile, stone or wood they look intended.
