What stops being made past 36 inches
The top end of the base board is not a gentle taper. Whole families simply end, and they end at different widths.

Read down the 39 column and the shape of this width is obvious: doors, a sink, a corner. Read across the bottom rows and the design lesson is clearer still — anything with a mechanism in it stops at 36. Drawers, rotating trays, apron bearing: those are all engineering, and the engineering has a width limit. Doors do not.
Why the corner SKU carries two numbers
BLB39/42 is a blind corner base, and the pair of numbers is the point. A blind box is designed to be pulled away from the corner during install, with the gap behind it closed by filler, so one cabinet can close either a 39-inch or a 42-inch leg of the corner depending on how far it is pulled. The listing calls it a 39-inch cabinet; the second number is the reach.
This is genuinely useful on a wall that will not measure the way the drawing said it would, and it is also the reason blind corner cabinets get ordered by people who have not planned the pull. Decide the position before install rather than during, because the run on the other wall is laid out from where that blind end lands.
The second widest sink base made
SB39 at $526.50 sits between the common 36 and the widest box at 42. It earns its place in two situations. The first is a large double bowl with a drainboard or an integrated draining area, where the extra three inches stops the bowl crowding the box ends. The second is more common than people expect: a sink that has to sit off-centre in its cabinet because it is being centred on a window instead.
That second case is worth planning for deliberately. A sink centred on its cabinet and a sink centred on the window above it are the same thing only by luck, and when they are not, a wider box is what gives you the room to move the bowl without the cabinet looking wrong.
There is no 39-inch drawer bank, and what to do instead
Nothing wider than 36 inches has drawers. If your plan calls for 39 inches of drawer, the answer is two banks: an 18 and a 21 side by side, at $646.75 and $672.75, which is $1,319.50 for the run.
That is more than a single wide bank would have cost, and it is honestly the better arrangement anyway. Two banks give you two sets of fronts to grab, half the load on each glide, and the freedom to make one of them a three-drawer and the other a four. The catalog is not depriving you of much here.
The mistake at this width
Drawing 39 inches on a plan without checking it exists in the family you need. It is a real width and four real boxes are made in it, but three quarters of the base board skips it entirely. A plan that specifies a 39-inch anything other than a door box, a sink base or a blind corner is a plan that has to be redrawn.
