Ask the question this way: if I skip this part now, what does it cost to add it later? For roughly a third of the list the answer is nothing at all. For another third it is an afternoon. For the rest it is a new cabinet, which on this finish is a four-figure mistake made by leaving a $617.50 line off a quote.

One quirk of the live list before the numbers start: the prefix is not consistent on this finish. The loose drawer trays are listed as GN CD-27/30 and GN KCUP-18, and nearly everything else as GNK — GNK TC18 BLUM, GNK ROD-B24 BLUM E. Quote the SKU exactly as it appears on the accessories page rather than normalising it, or the order comes back with a query.

A trash pull-out is the clearest example. It is not a bin in a cupboard; it is a mechanism that needs an empty base of the right width with no drawer above it, and the door has to be hung to it. Fifteen inches is $617.50, eighteen is $734.50, twenty-one is $809.25, and each width is also offered with an FHD suffix — a full-height door instead of a door-plus-false-front — at the same money. The vanity version, GNK TCV15 BLUM, is $708.50. How many bins each width carries is absent from the live list, so a household that separates recycling should ask for that number in writing before settling on the narrow unit.

The corner is worse, because the corner hardware is handed. Blind-base pull-outs come as GNK BPO-BLB42/45-L or -R at $1,277.25 and BLB48/51 at $1,394.25, and that trailing letter records which wall the blind panel hides behind. Specify the wrong one and the mechanism swings into the dead corner instead of out into the room. Read it off the corner base on the plan, not off a photo. Lazy susan inserts are matched to a cabinet width and height, from the plastic pie-cut GNK LSP24 30 at $227.50 and LSP24 36/42 at $341.25 up through the wood wedges: LSW24 30 at $429.00, LSW24 36/42 at $663.00, LSW27 30 at $546.00 and LSW27 36/42 at $848.25. They belong with the lazy susan base and not after it.

Then there are the parts with a visible face, which have to be manufactured in this colour alongside the doors. Filler pull-outs turn a dead strip beside the range into storage: GNK SPO-BF3 at $334.75 for a 3″ gap, SPO-BF6 at $380.25 for 6″, the soft-close BLUM versions of both at $585.00 and $695.50, GNK TBPO-BF3 at $432.25 for a tray layout, and GNK SSPO-BF1-1/2 at $1,313.00 for a gap under two inches. Their wall equivalents run GNK SPO-WF330 at $380.25 through WF642 at $497.25, and each is built to the height of the run it joins, which means the wall cabinets have to be locked down before one can be specified. The appliance garage belongs in the same category: GNK WAG2418 at $968.50 puts the toaster behind a 24″ door in the cabinet colour, and GNK WDCAG2418 at $757.25 does it across a corner.

One substitution to rule out now, because it is attempted on most plans: a pull-out has to have unobstructed depth behind it, which means it cannot be dropped into a gap that exists purely so a neighbouring door clears a refrigerator handle. That gap has to stay a gap.

Roll-out drawers are the biggest group here and the least urgent. They fasten to the interior sides of a base you already own, so the box is unchanged by the decision; read the number in the code as the cabinet it goes into rather than as a measurement of the tray. Every width from 15″ to 36″ comes in a standard height (the E suffix) and a high one (H), about fifty dollars apart at any width. Budget two per double-door base and one per single door, and treat the high version as a purchase for stand mixers and stockpots rather than a general upgrade — under a stack of pans the extra depth does nothing.

Drawer trays are the same kind of purchase with more choices. The loose trays drop into the shallow top drawer of a bank and are sold against a width range, so one part covers two cabinet sizes. The BLUM-hardware versions — GNK DCD-24 BLUM at $494.00, DCD-30 at $581.75, DCD-36 at $676.00, and the deeper GNK DTD-DB30 BLUM at $884.00 and DTD-DB36 at $932.75 — arrive with their own runners and are a different, heavier proposition. Two trays per kitchen is the usual honest count: cutlery by the dishwasher, utensils by the range.

Two more belong in this week rather than in the cabinet order. The sink tilt-out tray is $162.50 at 11″, 14″ and 24″ — one price for all three — and it converts the false front the sink base already has, so it is a retrofit as long as that front exists. The under-sink mat, GNK UNDER SINK MAT at $156.00, protects the deck below the trap. Stemware racks, GNK STMW30 at $403.00 and STMW36 at $425.75, screw up under a 30″ or 36″ upper.

Roll-outs, trays, the mat and the stemware rack are all genuinely addable. So is most lighting — but not all of it, and the exception is the reason this section exists. Puck lights screw to the underside of an upper and plug in: GNK LED W09 at $74.75 for a 9″ cabinet up to GNK LED W39 at $152.75 for a 39″ one, with a single 2-1/4″ puck at $71.50 and a 48″ interior strip at $221.00 for lighting the inside of a box. None of that requires the wall to be open.

What does require forethought is the supply. A run of light bars wants GNK LED DRIVER at $204.75, and the switch that turns them on is a separate $221.00 line — GNK LED WLS SWITCH, wireless, which is what makes a later retrofit possible without chasing a wall. The mesh connector at $201.50 links runs. Skip the driver on the original order and the bars arrive with nothing to power them; that is the single most common missing line on this whole page, and it is not expensive, it is just invisible.

The bars themselves are a bigger ticket and worth deciding early even if they ship later. Standard and Timber housings list the same: $487.50 at 24″, $539.50 at 30″, $617.50 at 36″, $656.50 at 42″, $698.75 at 48″, $861.25 at 54″ and $1,027.00 at 60″. Walnut runs higher — $585.00 at 24″ up to $1,098.50 at 60″. And if you are undecided about warm versus cool light on a mid-tone gray, the tunable white strip at $286.00 lets you settle it in the room instead of on a spec sheet, which is the right place to settle it.

Not everything on this list earns its line. The K-cup trays — GN KCUP-18 at $224.25 and GN KCUP-21/24 at $266.50 — hold pods in a wooden grid, and a divider tray you already ordered does the same job for the same drawer. The slim filler pull-out, GNK SSPO-BF1-1/2 at $1,313.00, closes a gap under two inches; a plain 3″ base filler from the trim list is $26.00 and nobody has ever looked at a kitchen and wished the two-inch gap had been a drawer.

The wood wedge lazy susans are lovely and live in the one place in the room nobody looks at. LSW27 36/42 at $848.25 against the plastic pie-cut at $341.25 is a $507 preference for a corner behind a closed door. And the under-sink mat at $156.00 does a real job that a tray from a hardware shop does for a fraction — we sell it, we would not insist on it.

The full-width base pull-outs are the group to be most careful with. GNK SPO-B9 BLUM at $806.00, UPO-B12 at $1,030.25, MLU-B18 at $1,088.75, UKBPO-B15 at $1,433.25 and the rest differ in what their trays are shaped for, and the store titles give only the width. At that money, ask what the tray layout actually is before a cabinet is sized around one.

The practical version of everything above is a single habit: walk the plan once and mark the boxes that have to change to accept a part — corner, trash, filler gaps, the garage — and order those with the cabinets. Everything else can be a second, cheaper conversation after the truck arrives, when you know what the kitchen is actually like to use.

It is also worth knowing that the faced parts arrive in the same mid-tone gray as the doors, from the same run, which is the whole argument for ordering them together rather than matching later. Gray is forgiving about wear and fingerprints in a way a white door is not, but it is not forgiving about two batches of paint.
